One of the best wrestling games on the N64, definately an improvment over Warzone. Certainly one of the best four player games available although it is a little bit limited in one player mode, even with the excellent new career system thats one of the best new features. The main problem is the ridiculously easy computer opponents. Even on hard, they’ll offer no real opposition. But combine the overhauled game engine with the new moves, intros, features and a much improved create-a-wrestler section and Wrestlemania 2000 has a lot to live up to. Just get your friends round for a match to get the most out of it.

I am a huge WWF fan and I bought WWF War Zone the day it was released. I had to buy this game so I got it the same week it came out. In my opinion, this is the best wrestling game ever. Unlike War Zone, Attitude features digtized theme songs of the wrestlers. The entrances are excellent. If you are even remotely a wrestling fan you should have this game. The only bad part is that Acclaim lost the WWF lisence to THQ. If you don’t have this game yet, you’d better get it soon because Acclaim can not make any more copies.I understand that Acclaim now has the ECW lisence and is working on an ECW game, titled ECW: Hardcore Revolution, which uses the Attitude engine. It is set to be released February 17, 2000. If you din’t have WWF Attitude yet, buy it while you still can.

WWF Attitude was pretty good. It was basically an expanded version of WWF Warzone and this time around you had a lot more control in the game as in actually creating a wrestler instead of copying another wrestler’s moves. The problem with Attitude was that the game was very predictable and after a while kind of boring because you could only do so much in this one. I will say that you got what you paid for because this game was entertaining and pretty fun to play with friends. You had a lot more clothing options with the create a character. One thing that bothered me about the Create a wrestler on Wrestlemania 2000 was that you had very few options with your wrestler’s face whereas in Attitude you had dozens of masks, face paint and hats and several other items to make your character more individual. The one thing that isn’t too great is that this game has a really tricky curve as far as the learning goes because the controls are a little tricky and weird and difficult (not as bad as WCW/NWO Nitro) but the game as a whole is still too easy (unless you get stuck in a 3 on 1 match, which might I add was a terrible idea!).I’d have to say unless you really want to check this out, I would rent this one first because there are much better WWF (now WWE) games out there and you could easily find a better one. Still if you must, go ahead and check it out!

This game was very disappointing because the characters are so dull. They are so slow when they move, and they surprisingly seem even slower when they run! They show no emotion whatsoever when they perform their finishing moves. Also, I know this game was released in 1999, but the roster is out of date. It is even more worthless renting the game. The reason it gets TWO stars is because the graphics are decent, and I enjoyed the Create-A-Character feature.

This game is a very fun game, but the weapons matches need more weapons. Also some of the controls make it difficult to play, and the list of moves are too short.
